This Belgian-style quadruple ale is a rich copper color and has a warm aroma of dark fruits and caramel. The flavor is rich with malty dark sugar notes, figs, and a subtle toasty character. The finish is surprisingly smooth for a beer of this strength, with a mild hint of alcohol warmth. This version, aged in a Social Still bourbon barrel, imparts lovely notes of vanilla, subtle warm spices and layers of charred oak.
