Rum Barrel-Aged Gold of Sunshine

If my beer did glow with the gold of sunshine. This pale golden ale is effervescent with a rich white head, mild aromas of pear and peppery spice from the Belgian yeast commingled with an almost perfume like floral character from the hops. With a medium body, mild malt sweetness, and hint of alcohol, the floral hoppy, and pepper spice notes from the aroma grow on the palate, finishing with a moderately dry hoppy finish. This Caribbean rum barrel-aged version layers lovely notes of caramel, spice and subtle oak notes on the already fantastic base beer.
